Based once again on the monster, under-wraps fic project Em and I have had underway for, like, two years. except in the story, she's unconscious for this part. XD But this was more visually dramatic.
I agree with your assessment, I don't think this image would have the same impact without her expression, maybe its because you can't see his behind the mask.
Oh I feel all giggly now *sigh* I would trade places with her in a heartbeat...I'd even pretend to be unconscious if I had to

HAHAHA. Awesome. I can't wait till Em sees it, too. She doesn't know I've drawn this. ^^
Thanks! And yeah, her expression betrays the entire tone and atmosphere of the situation even better than her beat-up appearance, and the fact that he seems utterly unaffected by the situation, staring straight ahead, back straight, completely uninjured himself, it all sort of suggests there's more going on here than a simple attack-of-conscience rescue.
And, ooh, girl, haaaayl yeah. Mmm, I could use a nice, lean, muscley anti-hero like that.... I could really use one... hehehheh...

I remember... a story with them. I swear, I actually support them as a couple because he's probably the only one who could argue with her without losing, which... would lead to more arguing, but then lead to some sort of romantic scene or situation.

Yeah I know.... maybe one day when we're both a little more settled with the rampaging craziness of our lives we can get back to talking on a regular basis and maybe get back into the swing of this. But, yeah... if we manage to come up with something, I still think it'd be good to change the title. it's our Working Title for now, though, and I do have some fondness for it. XD
Glad ya like it! Now if only you could see the new deviation in my regular gallery. It's my first Print!!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
