Whoops, did I seriously forget to reconnect with you guys since the wedding? Dudes, I abase myself in humility and apology.
So, school. Doing school after seeeeveeeen yeeeaaaars. It's been... something. Not super hard or anything, although making myself devote all that time to bullshit busywork and proving I've learned basic shit has put a serious crimp in most all other activity.
Not to mention, I am up at that damned school all mother fucking day long. Class at 10am, work in Admissions from 3-8. And considering I live 25 minutes (by highway) from the college, there is literally no point in going home for that brief interlude. I get some lunch, and then kill my remaining hour and a half in the library, every Monday-Thurday.
I'm so sorry I've been so damn AWOL. I haven't had lots of time or energy for a shit of things, and most of my internet time happens on campus during the week. Sadly, the network has deviantART blocked, there, for fear of "mature content". Yet strangely, tumblr is a-ok.
That's actually where you can find me a lot for the time being. Takes moments to reblog something, and very little actual grey matter has to be involved. If you guys want to tumbl with me for any reason, once again, you can find me at www.absentlyabbie.tumblr.com and be bowled over by how much I reblog Avengers fangasms and gifs of Tom Hiddleston being ridiculous and handsome.
I'm going to make an actual effort to be around here more, though, and hopefully sometime soon I can post up some more new art. No promises, though, this weekend is studying for my first midterm, next two weekends are wedding planning bonanza bullshit, and then the weekend after that my baby brother's gettin' hitched. (God, I feel so fucking old.)

That's basically what I've got to say for myself. School has just been fucking crazy, as I'm now in three classes and working nights as well. And we've been planning a wedding. BUT. As of yesterday, my baby brother is married (yaaay! and I may have cried a little) so things may now calm down ever so slightly.
I've been wanting to scan and post some new art forever now, and I'm so sorry I've continued to neglect dA, despite my previous journal. Haha, I've been so out of it, my premium membership lapsed and I didn't even notice for a week. I know most of you are here for the banter, or the ranty journals, and the sketchy drawings. Some of you are even here because I've sassed you into believing you like me, poor fools. ;)
But while this is primarily where I dump my art, I consider myself first and foremost a writer. I don't post much writing here, because I truly don't think it's what most of you are here for. And beyond that, I've been in a horrible swamp of writer's block for around a year now.
However! I am trying to push through that muck and mire and get writing again. You've all seen a bit of the evidence of this, recently. But I still have a hell of a lot of work to do
